    Description

    Sidney E. King, illustrator who studied at Boston Museum of Fine Arts. He moved to Fredericksburg, Virginia where he illustrated and painted until he passes away in 2004. These items came from his studio. Included is the front cover from a magazine "June" (1930's) of "The Open Road for Boys" showing "SKing".  The second item is an original pen & ink drawing for the magazine by Sidney E. King which is signed "Sid". The third piece is a print which appeared in one of the issues showing his classic signature "SID". See images for aging and handling of these examples by Sidney E. King.
